I'm busy working on my blog posts. Watch this space!
As the ground moles stare up, out of their dark mole hole at the rain, they are wondering when summer will arrive.
Rain has been a constant feature for June, which has presented some issues to our team of ground Moles.
Typically a pitch takes 10 days to be prepared for play, this window can be adversely affected by poor weather. But the ground moles continue to scurry from their hole if the rain stops.
Moles are safe to approach so if you see one shuffling around the ground at anytime, do go and speak to them, they will of course grumble but that is the mole way.
Our newest Mole "currently between roles" Mole, has been doing sterling work on the outfield, despite the conditions and flaky equipment.
Mechanical Mole was last seen hunting escargo far away in a non cricketing country, he has promised to be back soon, and to stop wanting to kiss eleven men in green.
"Best Bowler in the club 1980" Mole, injured paw has cleared up and he is back moling around the ground.
